WHY WOULD YOU NEED A MASSAGE?

ADVANTAGES OF SPORT- AND RELAXING MASSAGE IN ORDER:

WHAT TYPE OF MASSAGE CAN BE GIVEN?

Possible treatments:

WHAT IS MASSAGE AND WHAT TYPES OF MASSAGES CAN BE DISTINGUISHED?

Through the ages Massage has been a simple method to improve health. A set of grips are applied on the skin and a relaxed part of the body. You are relaxed sitting or lying down on a massage table with only the treated part of the body uncovered. The rest of the body will be covered to avoid cooling down. Massage is a treat to tissues, muscles and spirit.

Classical massage: It is probably  the oldest medical treatment we know. It is a type of  massage in which western knowledge of medical care as well as eastern filosophy play a main role. By means of diverse massage technics in combination with connective tissue massage the masseur influences the skin, joints ligaments, muscles and blood vessels. The internal organs and nerve system will also be involved. Due to the increased saturation of blood  the intake of nutrients in the muscles will improve, the massage gives a feeling of well-being.

Relaxing massage: A body massage on the skin by which a massage oil will be applied (sometimes  with etheric oils). The masseur will treat different muscles or group of muscles  whereby the saturation of the tissues improve, toxics are drained and the metabolism of the muscles and muscles functions improve. The body will be massaged softly and that way get rid of all negative tentions. With as a result a total relaxation of the body.

Sport massage: This type of massage is specially meant to relief fatigue symptoms, directly caused by physical efforts and to recall the souplesse of the muscles.Because some of our daily activities often have the same influence on our body as doing exercises, this type of massage is therefore not only for people who do sports. It is also useful for non sportsmen. The toxics that are piling up in the muscles are causing pain and cramps. By giving the muscles an intensive massage the metabolism will be effected positively and muscles recuperate more quickly.

Connective tissue massage (BWM): With this massage the nerve system will be influenced.
Stimilus are given to the connective tissue underneath the skin, the muscles and the periosteum. This massage is quite intensive and not completely painless. It is a great massage for protracted injuries and chronical irritation of tendons.

This listing of different massages is far from complete. However, are you interested in treatments like Foot reflexology, Reiki, Tui Na and/or Bachblossom therapy I recommend my collegue Patricia Bout in Ten Boer (GR) telephone: 06-15442869 .

WHERE WILL YOU GET THE MASSAGE?

You do not have to leave your house. I will come to you! Very relaxed in your own environment, just that will give you a relaxed feeling already. The only thing you have to take care of is room for a massage table (80 x 200 cm) with some walking space around it. The room should be pleasantly warm, so that you can enjoy your massage comfortably. Massage table, towels and oils will be taken care of
